DRENGR TREATMENT
Like any occupational injury, repeated exposure to trauma, chronic stress, disrupted sleep, and constant vigilance produces predictable changes in the brain, body, and nervous system. These changes are not signs of weakness. They are expected consequences of repeatedly moving toward danger when human beings are naturally wired to move away from it.
Without treatment, these injuries often affect multiple areas of life. Recovery is possible, and you don't have to navigate it alone. At DRENGR, you'll work with treatment providers who understand the realities of first responder and military service and can help you build a path forward.
Common consequences include:
-
Alcohol and Substance Use
-
Occupational Stress
-
Trauma and PTSD
-
Anxiety
-
Depression
-
Relationship Conflict
-
Sleep Disturbances
-
Grief and Loss
-
Anger and Irritability
-
Compassion Fatigue
-
Moral Injury
-
Retirement and Career Transition Challenges
WHAT TO EXPECT
We've designed the process to be straightforward and confidential.
When you contact DRENGR, you'll speak directly with one of our treatment providers. We'll answer your questions, learn about your concerns, and schedule a clinical assessment to understand your needs, goals, and experiences.
We will then develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to your unique circumstances. You'll receive care in a secure environment with peers who understand the realities of first responder and military service.
From your first phone call through every stage of treatment, our goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care with a clear path toward recovery.
Recovery does not require leaving behind who you are.
It helps preserve the strength, purpose, and identity that brought you here.
WHY DRENGR WORKS
Recovery begins with understanding.
At DRENGR, you won't spend your first session explaining shift work, critical incidents, military culture, hypervigilance, or why the job changes people.
We understand because we've lived and worked in those environments. Our treatment combines evidence-based clinical care with firsthand knowledge of the unique demands placed on first responders and veterans. That shared understanding allows us to build trust quickly, focus on what matters, and deliver treatment designed for the realities of service.
